My interests live at the intersection of HIV prevention, sexual health education, social determinants of health, and community well-being, with a focus on making accurate health information accessible to everyone—without the stigma or confusion. I’ve explored these interests through research on reproductive health facilities, involvement with a student committee in the College of Public Health, volunteer work in the Athens community, and hands-on experience supporting student success and wellness initiatives. I enjoy combining data, communication, and creativity to build health education that genuinely connects with people and meets them where they are. Outside of academics, you can usually find me working on creative projects, napping with my cat, reading, or sipping a good cup of coffee (a skill perfected during my time as a barista at Jittery Joe’s). Long term, I hope to work in HIV prevention, sexual health advocacy, or community health, developing interventions that promote equity, expand education, and support healthier communities while keeping public health accessible, inclusive, and impactful.
